Job Summary & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, development, testing, documentation, and configuration control of sophisticated new aerospace controllers

  • Integrate and validate new product designs

  • Make improvements/revisions to existing products

  • Develop test systems and automated test scripts for new and existing products.

Job Requirements


  • Strong documentation and writing skills

  • Strong Circuit Design and prototyping skills

  • Ability to create Schematics and PCB layout using eCAD tools

  • Ability to set-up, operate, and use common test & measurement equipment (power supply, scope, function generator, etc.).

  • Use of configuration management tools for engineering changes (ECN), revision control, change tracking, and approval.

  • Functions independently on project sub-sets and coordinates activities with senior supervision.

  • Occasional domestic and/or international travel with staff to customer review meetings.

  • Occasional travel (for 1-2 week duration) to supervise off-site qualification testing of new products.

Desired Skills:

  • Embedded programming experience

  • LabVIEW experience

  • Familiarity with SPICE simulation

  • Experience with SolidWorks or similar solid modeling tools

  • MATLAB/Simulink

Education and Experience:

  • B.S. Electrical/Computer Engineering degree
