Nuclear Medicine department works 6am - 2:30pm M-F

Based in Wichita, we serve Kansas and northeast Oklahoma through our doctors, hospitals, senior villages and health services.
Tech-Nuclear Med-Clinic/Region performs nuclear medicine therapeutic and diagnostic procedures providing quality images to radiologists and physicians for interpretation.
Maintains and operates cameras that detect and map radioactive drugs in a patient's body to create diagnostic images.
Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical factors accurately.
Orders, prepares, administers, and disposes of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Communicates patient care issues with physicians.
Anticipates patient/families needs and assists in exceeding customer expectations in meeting needs.
Covers department call as scheduled.
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1.5 Months (45 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Licensed Radiology Technician credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
One or more of the following:
Certified Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Associates degree (AA), or equivalent, from JRCERT approved college or technical school program and graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine Program (NMTCB)
- One year nuclear medicine technology experience preferred.
